Who He Is!

"He is alive and among us as our Priest to forgive us, our Prophet to teach us, our King to rule us, our Shepherd to guide us." This is from a book I'm reading about discipline, I read it this morning and it stuck with me all day. It was such a reminder for me to depend on God for EVERYTHING. I don't get to pick who I want God to be to me, He is all of those things no matter what. I love that! I love the security I have in His roles. As you go throughout your day tomorrow, try to remember that He is your everything, depend on Him to carry you through the day. Embrace the roles He has in your life and search for ways He can be more of an influence in your life.
 

Ready, Set, BLOG!

I finally got myself together to start a blog. I really wanted a place that I could post what's going on in my life. I am not a fan of the dramatic facebook status's or the emo xanga's from 8th grade that everyone thought, at least once, they wanted...I figure a blog is a little more sophisticated and even if no one reads it I can put my thoughts out there somewhere.
